Prizes for academics-subject wise, games and sports, cleanliness, attendance, regular home work discipline are the special features to boost morale of the students and ensure their overall active participation.

Following meritionous studends of MCM DAV Sr. Sec. Public School, Baghni(Nurpur) have been awarded the scholarship for the Exam. conducted by “Ancient Shiv Mandir Organising Committee, Kathgarh”for the year 2014-15.

In the Children Sciemce Congress(Sub- Division Level)-2014, held at Govt. SSS, Basantpur on 17 & 18 October, 2014 five of our students got following postion: Ms. Shivangi Sharma (Class X): First  postion in Science Activity Corner & selection for Districtic Level. Master Sidharth Mahajan(Class VII) & Master Rahul Jamwal(Class VII) Second Postion in Junior Level Quiz, Master Mukul Koundal & Ms. Vaishali Kutleria(Class X) Third postion in Senior Level Quiz.

Ms. Taruchaya & Ms. Vidushi has bagged First & Third position in Painting Competition(Senior)  and Ms. Shreya Thakur has bagged First Position in Musical Chair (Junior) Auto Carnival 2013 competition organized by Divya Himachalat Nurpur on 26.09.2013.

Our Student Miss Nandani Kaul of XII has been awarded Rs. 31,000/- as First Prize in the TALENT HUNT TEST conducted by HIMACHAL INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY Shahpur on 24th December, 2012.

Ms. Dimpal Choudhary of class XII bagged Ist position(Card Making) in MHRA Youth Festival, 2011-12.
